I woke early in the morning and getting ready for the north trip with my friends. Me and my friends started depart from Shah Alam at 7.30am in the morning by car. Well, we had our long and fun journey through the ride. We pass through the tunnel and the way is clear. No jammed at all. We are so lucky! Phewhh! And so, here begins my three days filled with fun and joy travels to the north which is Perak, Kedah and Pulau Pinang. And so, we are on our way to Ipoh, Perak where our first destination is.

10.30am

We’re here!! We had our breakfast at the New Hollywood, where it is so famous for breakfast. Many people go for breakfast there. At the restaurant of the New Hollywood, there were so many choices of food. Such as chee cheong fun, mee curry, rojak, roti canai and many more to be mention. Well for me, I ordered a Chinese style of mee curry for myself. Because the moment I step into the restaurant, I saw the mee curry and it is looks so tempting. I also ordered a side dish which is a toast with half boiled egg on top of it. Oh it is so good with the combination of white pepper and soy sauce. But, at the same time, I feel sorry for myself because I’m not ordering the chee cheong fun at the first place! My friend ordered it and it taste so good!

12.00pm

After having our breakfast there, we continue our journey and go to the Plan B at Ipoh for some “Ais Kepal” at Bits and Bobs. Well, the surrounding of the place is huge! I thought the Plan B is just like the normal restaurant that we have in mall. Heheh but I was wrong. The building is kind of old but yea it looks so unique! On top of the building of the Plan B, there is a place for people to stay which is known as the Sekeping Retreat. The Sekeping Retreat is also known as an old building that being rebuild to have a wonderful place to stay.

Anyhow, talking about the place that I’ve goes, Plan B is a place where tourist are usually goes. It has so many things at that place. And so, after we finish eating our big round shaped of “Ais Kepal” and also having our own photoshoot session there (hehe because the place is so nice and unique!), we continue our journey to Kedah where one of my friends’ house. We stayed at her house for just one night only. Well ya! We just wanted to cut the cost on the hotels!

3.30pm

After the three and a half hour drive, we have finally arrived at Kedah. But before we go to Syu’s house, we go and eat our lunch first. We are so hungry during the drive. We had our sticky rice as also known as pulut there. Oh yeaa this is heaven on earth where the pulut tastes so good! We had our pulut at this one small stall. That stall named as ‘Awi Pulut Durian’. My friends and I ordered a lot of pulut since they have so many types of it. We ordered the pulut manga, pulut ayam, and also pulut kari daging. Anyhow, the pulut manga and the pulut ayam are originated from Thailand. But since Kedah and Thailand is not that far, they can make that kind of pulut. The taste was super delicious. My friends and I loved it and we are almost order it again. Hehe but we are not ordering it some more because we are all stuffed with the good food!

After having our lunch, we are heading to Pasar Rabu which sells lots of things such as kerepek. Since my mom ordered some of the kerepek, we go there and it took like 5-10 minutes by car because the place is not that far from the Awi Pulut stall. We go there and I bought so many kerepek that my mom wants! After we shopped all the things that we need, we go to Syu’s house which is located at Jitra, Kedah that is not far from the town. We reached there around 5pm. We get to rest since our long journey and it feels so goooooooooood! Thanks to Syu’s mom and her family to let us stay there for one night! Hehe oh and also her mom cooked dinner for us! In one day, we got to eat so much food and we are so happy because all the food that we ate is so good! Hehe Alhamdulillah :)
